Our Scholarship Programs

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, partners, and sponsors, Preface is proud to offer scholarship awards to support the next generation of student leaders in their own journeys advocating for Opportunity Through Education.

All Preface Scholarships utilize a single global application and general guidelines, which can be found at the links below.

Established in honor of Dr. Clara Y. Lim Sylianco and her supportive husband, Teddy, the "CT Sylianco Scholarship" seeks to empower the next generation of student leaders in creating opportunity for others and living a lifetime of service pursuing "Equality Through Education."

VISIONS

The "CT Sylianco Scholarship" was established in honor of Dr. Clara Y. Lim Sylianco and her supportive husband, Teddy - pioneering leaders in both science and business. 

 

The Scholarship seeks to advance their vision of empowering the next generation of student leaders in creating opportunity for others. In their honor, the Scholarship aims to inspire students to live a lifetime of service, constantly pursuing "Opportunity Through Education."

AWARDS

Up to 4 CT Sylianco Scholars will be selected each year, each receiving a $500 award, paid directly to their  higher educational institution.

​

Any high school senior living in a Preface Operational State and with plans to enroll in an institution of higher education in the fall is eligible to apply for the CT Sylianco Scholarship.

​

Full guidelines and eligibility requirements can be found at the links at the top of the page.

DEADLINES

Applications for the 2025 scholarships will open on April 28.

​

The Preface Scholarship Committee will notify selected scholars in August of 2025.

​

Regrettably, late or incomplete applications cannot be accepted.

​

The "Nacino Family Scholarship" was established in honor of Frank and Florence Nacino - accomplished Filipino American businesspeople and philanthropists. 

 

The Scholarship seeks to advance their vision of supporting future leaders in business and philanthropy through their higher education pursuits.

Graduation Ceremony

AWARDS

Up to 2 Nacino Family Scholars will be selected each year, each receiving a $500 award, paid directly to their  higher educational institution.

​

Any high school senior living in a Preface Operational State and with plans to enroll in an institution of higher education in the fall is eligible to apply for the Nacino Family Scholarship.

​

The "Primerica Foundation Scholarship" was established thanks to the generosity of the Primerica Foundation in Duluth, Georgia.

 

The Scholarship seeks to support the next generation of leaders in creating opportunity for others, in line with the Foundation's mission of helping individuals achieve self-sufficiency and a better quality of life.

Graduation Ceremony

Up to 2 Primerica Foudation Scholars will be selected each year, each receiving a $500 award, paid directly to their  higher educational institution.
