Cassandra McCracken

Originally from Tennessee, Cassandra moved to Atlanta in 2018 in search of a diverse community with room to grow. She began her career as a financial systems analyst for Discovery, Inc. primarily supporting global technology for brands such as Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, and more. Cassandra now serves as Manager of Analytics at Compass Group, the largest contract food-service company in the world. In addition, she recently became full-time CEO & Editor of her own company, Well & Wanderful, an online magazine and e-commerce business focusing on travel and wellness. 

 

As an avid traveler, she has seen the importance of foundational education and the need for foreign language curricula. Proficient in Spanish, her educational experience as a volunteer English teacher in Cartagena, Colombia allows her to bring a unique perspective and passion to the Preface mission. 

 

Cassandra graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Business Administration majoring in statistics with a concentration in supply chain management.
