Preface Announces Unprecedented In-Person and Virtual Multi-State Expansions Launching Fall 2020

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

In partnership with educational leaders across the country, Preface has expanded its landmark community partnerships utilizing its highly effective Ambassadorship Model into 6 states across America.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA. – After a summer of unprecedented engagement with educators across the country, even in the midst of a global pandemic, Preface has further solidified support for its innovative approach to early childhood literacy with an unprecedented expansion to 6 states across America for the Fall 2020 semester.

Thanks to the hard work of its inaugural 2020 class of Expansion Directors, Preface has finalized a slew of partnerships in diverse communities across the Southeast – with Preface Ambassadorships slated to launch over the coming weeks in South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, and Tennessee. Each community’s locally-recruited Ambassadors will receive specialized training in best-practices unique to their individual communities, alongside exclusive access to Preface’s groundbreaking Virtual Portal for use during periods of remote learning.

“The fact that, over the course of one summer, we’ve been blessed to grow from just one partnership in metro Atlanta into a multi-state network of partnerships in communities across the Southeast, is truly a testament to the pioneering work being done by our educational partners and our Expansion Directors every single day,” said Jonathan “JT” Wu, Founder & Executive Director of Preface. “Our virtual innovations, in particular, have deeply resonated with educators looking to make a difference in their communities during these unprecedented times; and we are so honored to be able to come alongside them and fight to provide foundational opportunities for this next generation.”

Wu added that these expansions will help educators across America mitigate learning loss – especially during periods of remote learning. With hundreds of young children across the country poised to benefit from Preface’s relational Ambassadorship model, Preface is well-positioned to continue empowering the next generation to foster early childhood literacy – with a multilingual twist.

Preface’s expansionary slate of Fall 2020 Partnerships is set to launch alongside schools in the following communities:

  • Chattanooga, TN

  • Lilburn, GA

  • Dothan, AL

  • Wilson, NC

  • Charleston, SC

  • Houston, TX

  • Pharr, TX
